Transform your data management strategy with DCAM, the industry-standard framework for assessing and improving data capabilities. Our expertise ensures robust governance, optimized data quality, and enhanced decision-making, turning data challenges into strategic advantages.
DCAM® (Data Management Capability Assessment Model) is a framework developed by the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Council. It outlines the essential components for effective data management and serves as a powerful tool for assessing your organization’s data capabilities.
As certified DCAM practitioners and contributors to the upcoming DCAM v3, we bring unmatched insight into how to apply this framework effectively in real-world environments. We help you turn DCAM from a checklist into a strategic driver for data maturity, regulatory alignment, and business value.
We conduct a comprehensive DCAM® Assessment to quantify your current Data Management capabilities. Through stakeholder interviews, surveys, and artefact reviews, we generate a clear, evidence-based score.
Once your DCAM® score is established, we help you translate results into action. We analyse your assessment findings, identify priority areas, and develop a practical, phased roadmap to elevate your Data Management maturity.
We provide EDM Council-accredited DCAM® training, guiding your staff through the framework step by step. Whether you're just getting started or need focused support, our training helps teams understand, adopt, and apply DCAM® effectively.
DCAM® outlines what good Data Management looks like — we help you figure out how to deliver it. We apply proven methodologies to help you build and embed fit-for-purpose processes, models, and documentation.
The Chief Data Office (CDO) Data Governance team of a U.S.-based Global Systemically Important Bank (G-SIB) released an updated Data Policy accompanied by a structured, two-year, three-phase compliance schedule. To support the successful execution of this policy, they needed to align it with a well-defined set of data management capabilities, enabling the development of a practical roadmap for phased implementation. Additionally, there was a critical need for a formal, evidence-based mechanism to track and monitor compliance across both Enterprise and Business Unit operating levels. This mechanism needed to be robust enough to support internal and external audit requirements, with a particular focus on satisfying regulatory expectations under BCBS 239.
